Long black dress
Tendrils of soft hair
Beautiful indeed
Dressed up for death
I'm ready now, as I start taking steps
I'm all ready now, prepared for what's next
Many have loved and fear to let go
Many sustain and live to make it so
I on the other hand, will die for the free
I on the other hand am shattered inside me
As I walk down the steps, towards my glorious doom
My coffin awaits my cold bodies perfume

I just noticed the note on the cancer. I've known many who get to the point where their strength and power takes over and overcomes the power of the disease. It is a powerful write..raw and wickedly good in expressing that process of all the emotions that go with the release of "Shatter Me".

oh very haunting, and the use of rhyming just increases this feeling. Dark and lovely. I can just see a beautiful girl waiting for death's dark embrace. Loved it.
