Can of soup

Can of soup

A Poem by D'arcy The Bear
"

a tale of humor

"

It’s about time I light up this doom and gloom.

How about a story?  A tale for the mood.

It started in the afternoon, no wait maybe too soon?

Midnight is right, with the beautiful big blue moon.

No my friend as in the rock in the sky, not your backside.

Oh where do they find these guys?

Anyway, back to the story.

Check out the stars, their as bright as the bars.

Oh now you want a drink, well sit back down and let me think.

Yes wine, it should be fine, but not too fine, only my body fits with that line.

So forget that time, back to the crime-oh wait I mean story.

Sore knees? No sorry

Lost yet? I'll tell you where we are in the song,

We are on boat in sea, sailing all night long and,

Wait, is that a thong? Oh no you got it all wrong.

I mean journeying to a land afar and whoa, where the hell is the car?

And how did that duck get aboard, quacking loud trying to attract a crowd. But it sounds like someone using a horn to move a cow.

Well I’m not saying your fat. You're just big, maybe near a twig?

Hey I've spoken too much and I bet you didn't laugh as such.

Want to know how this story ends?

You, me and a drunken friend.

Oh yea, and that duck.
