The Clock's got two feetA Poem by D'arcy The Beara meaning of life or death. From my eye, I see the clock counter wise. Tick tock, the clock strikes ten. So much time, such little fallen hands. Tick tock, the clock strikes nine. Stuck in time, a story of lives. Tick tock, the clock strikes eight. Dark as the night, starting to fade. Tick tock, the clock strikes seven. All is lost, so walks the seconds. Tick tock, the clock strikes six. Oh sweet love, dear angel's kiss. Tick tock, the clock strikes five Human nature, we create then divide. Tick tock, the clock strikes four. Answer the call, open the door. Tick tock, the clock strikes three. Somewhere in the void, calling to me. Tick tock, the clock strikes two. Standing alone, slow broken tune. Tick tock, the clock strikes one. Onto the end, the abyss forms. In an instant, time stops. The world seen clear as the stars point to the divine. Golden souls surround the whole and then, It stops, I follow the path to chance, to risk, to achieve. The end is lost, now to begin. © 2014 D'arcy The BearAuthor's Note
