That sinking feeling

That sinking feeling

A Poem by TurtleClark

Shes sitting

ripping wings off of butterflies

watching the world pass her by

her childhood stolen

by a man she called brother

Shes sitting

slicing her wrists

watching the blood drip in the water

as she bleeds out

Shes sinking

her face covered in tears

the water turning red

with the blood of pain
