AND THE WORLD FALLS SILENT

AND THE WORLD FALLS SILENT

A Poem by TurtleClark

Sleep now

The world is quiet

Sleep now

The voices are silent

everything has calmed

No sleep came

For in the shadows

Laid a creature

Gnarled and terrifying

He lept and scratched

Tore and ripped

'Til all that was left were crushed bones

And this is how

The darkness began

Come reach for my hand

Follow my voice

We'll make it out in the end

Very well written... sounding almost like a not very tranquil song rather chilling the words outlined in black makes it feel more so;)
