and nobody feels

 

have some compassion
take a step in their shoes
you'll see how it hurts
to hear everyone's views

 

so blind to the scars
so deaf to the cries
everyone so ignorant
they believe all the lies

 

some people say its wrong
i need some way to let it out
ignore all the screams
ignore all the shouts

 

set apart from the rest
living a different life
everyone thinks they're best
yet all they know is a lie

im not a poet, but instinctively id - all they know is a lie - for a title.

this is a very nice piece, well written, nice structure with a potent message. realy makes one stop and think.
