Severence.A Poem by Elena CovaciA man betwixt with a succubus of sortsTo appreciate The lustful gleam in such innocent eyes She lead me on For a lair of deceit I was simply, simply what, I cannot be certain, But I was hers. She never spoke, never questioned The validity of my love. And when all was over, she left me alone. The silence was smothering, The window as dull as my pain, It hazed over. With such a deafening silence. I could never possibly imagine. The severence Of those pretty blue eyes
