Someone Else's Hell

Someone Else's Hell

A Poem by chandlerl
"

I went out to smoke before class and got preached to. Came back in...we had the following conversation... Ejoy.

"

Light of contraception,

and smoked to the edge.

Walking to class,

I got preached to,

'Do you know jesus?'

she asked.

'Do you know what he's done for you?"

she questioned.

I told her I knew

the difference

between right and wrong

and that's all that matters

in the end.

I told her I knew

the god of the christian religon

is fear-based,

I grew up with him,

and i feared his rath far more then that of Satan's.

That I'd been through hell

and I've come back.

I've been through limbo

stuck in pause.

That I'm now on a path

that i can respect in its own manner.

Because assuming all religons are correct,

everyone's going to someone else's hell.
