Beliefs and Hobbies

I'd rather date someone older
someone who looks at me
like I'm beautiful.
Treats me like an equal (because I am)
Someone I have stuff in common with,
who I have an attraction to.

I'd rather not date someone my age
who's immature and
looks at me like I'm a dime a dozen (because I'm not)
Treats me like less than,
that I have nothing in common with.
Someone who in honest, I have no attraction to.

There's people who say age doesn't matter,
but some who say it,
are lieing through their teeth.
Because when you say something
and do differently,
that's a hobby, not a belief.
