A Poem by chandlerl

A haven for the anti-social,
a place for thought and knowledge,
where no one take my views as odd,
but instead, deep in thoughts of their own,
they nod.
Where books are treated kindly
and no knowledge or thought,
is turned away.
A place where all minds come together,
in a thought provoking way.

I would just go now and sit in a library to see all that you described come true.

Keep on!

Great abstract way of describing something that is commonly known as a "dry boring" place to be.

Short, beautiful, and true.
Another good read.

Almost a depiction of this site we are all on....
Nicely put.

terrific description of that HALLOWED place

I particularly love the reference to the down and outs

I often wonder if there is not another Dylan Thomas amongst them
