Look at MeA Poem by chandlerl
Open the wounds
and leave me bleeding. Open the wounds, but let me go. Let me be, who I am. Who I want and need to be. Let the wounds heal inside of me. Oh God, if you're there willing and listening, heal the wounds which bind me. They placed them on my young flesh. Help me, oh dear Lord, Help me. To Live. To be. To see. Look into my eyes scarred by age but still alive. Look into my eyes look into my eyes. Stanch the blood stop the bleeding. Of my tattered soul inside. Let me face tomorrow without fear Fear of who and what I am to become. © 2013 chandlerlReviews
