Whisper

Whisper

A Poem by chandlerl

Whispering winds surround my face,

telling me what to say and do.

There's no telling what lie is next,

or how I'll betray you.

It's a bad habit to say the least,

but the truth just won't come out.

My brain thinks in winding ways,

it help un-knot my tongue

and unbind my mind.

Making problems disappear and

whispering seductively in my ear.

I don't want to be rude,

so I let the lies in.

Let them crowd my brain,

let the wild past run free

and take the reins from me.

I feel the power and the undeniable control.
