The Youth of Writing

WE ARE THE FUTURE

We are silent.
We are watching.
We are content
with our lives of knowing.
Knowing what
you do not,
knowing what
other's view as not.
Not the things that are important,
but we know it's not only
the large things
life's made out of
but the trivial, small, things
that are forgotten
can bring the system down,
bring everything that we hold dear
down.
The big, small, medium, and supersized
will bring the system down,
will bring society down,
and when that day comes
and it will,
we'll be there
for the solution
for we ARE
the solution.

Collectively I think that we're the problem, but individually I think we could be the solution....great poem :P It got me thinking, which I hate to do on a Saturday afternoon but oh well :D I think you've finally earned that pop tart!!!!
