I Will

I wrote this in my first rehab, my first glimpse at hope.

I will not be kept prisoner
inside of my head.
I will dream freely .
And the blood that beats
inside of my heart,
will sing softly- bravely.
A shadow- will not be cast.
I will shed only light
on my enemies
making them my friends.
This will all come from the wisdom
inside of my brain,
from the sight i see inside of myself.
