as I lay me down to sleepA Poem by Shae-Leigh Johns
"now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep, and if I die before I wake, I pray my soul the lord to take" the pillow muffles her cries the darkness hides her pain she knows she at the edge she knows she's at the end she begs and pleads with her mind to break these chains and break this pain she's scared and alone she's shaken and breaking all she wants is to fly all she wants is to die she's sick of crying and she tired of trying this is the end for her and as she puts the gun to her head she ask the lord to take her soul
