last hope

last hope

A Poem by Shae-Leigh Johns

It's day like these I want to cry
Day's like these when truth comes out
It's like a knife in my gut
It hurts so bad
But I can't seem to walk away
to get out of this situation
I keep telling myself it will all work out
maybe he's not the man I thought he was
or maybe I'm overreacting
I'll bite my tongue and close my eyes
and pray and hope for the best
Because in the end
It all comes down to him being my last hope

too often people trivialize another's circumstance... we don't always walk that mile in their "shoes" ...we should. Learning how to "deal" isn't trivial either - takes time and thinking things through - sometimes aloud and sometime via talking WITH another person. We MUST make choices and hope they are the best paths of what we have.
