Hide Away

If I just lay down. 

With my body numb

And my mind buzzing. 

Do nothing but lay there. 

Nothing can hurt or bother me.

I'll be safe. 

From it all. 

Or so I think. 

Would it just be better. 

If I slipped away. 

And hide forever under a rock. 

I couldn't disappoint anyone. 

No one would have to worry about me. 

It would be prefect.
