Truth

A Poem by Kitten

"
"As I sit in heaven
And watch you everyday
I try to let you know with signs
I never went away
I hear you when you're laughing
And watch you as you sleep
I even place my arms around you
To calm you as you weep
I see you wish the days away
Begging to have me home
So I try to send you signs
So you know you are not alone
Don't feel guilty
That you have
Life that was denied to me
Heaven is truly beautiful
Just you wait and see
So live your life, laugh again
Enjoy yourself, be free
Then I know with every breath you take
You'll be taking one for me..."

My mom read with to me today. Is was posted on her facebook... Not for the same reason I'm posting it. But I know... We can all connect to this. The day is was first posted... Was December 28th.... The Rev's death date. (For those that don't know.) And... Every word of this. Is what I feel about him... I may sound insane. But I truly believe. He is my guardian angel.

The title could also be "The Angel". It's really good. The rhymes are appealing. I love the way you maintain them through the whole poem. Thanks for sharing this.

This is really moving and Im glad you see this. As long as you know you still have an angel watching over you.
