Tree of Memories

Tree of Memories

A Poem by Suavis_Umbra
"

this poem's genesis came from the idea of two loved ones but yet never meant for each other. something like having the love of your life next to you but never realizing it...

"

Now, there is but death,

A round within each other;

A pale yellow colour fills me with disgust

It’s fresh smell inhaling itself into my body;

Polluting the depths of my core

Now, I stand before you,

I stand guilty.

When my eyes shall sets themselves against the celestial canvas,

And it too, shall forge tears

I shall remember you... and that is a promise.

But there is one more thing...

Two words meant for one and,

I stay alone.

Two words that were meant for you to hear but now it is too late.

Two words... Just two

Hermes shall be my witness
