shellA Poem by jasmine
They never see me
I never let them What they see is a shell A well designed shell A cover upon the surface Hinding all my anger And my pain A smile painted to deceive the viewers Hiding my true sadness Replacing my teary eyes With bright and alive ones Filling them with false hope My running nose My swollen face Covered by the lies I display I'm dying inside but noone must know I do not need pity It gets me no where I endure my hurt with pride In this shell of mine © 2014 jasmineAuthor's Note
