"

Wanted to try out a Tanaka (5-7-5-7-7). Just got a little inspiration and five minutes, this is the result. hope you like it!

"

It’s automatic

When you softly answer me

Could it be the truth?

Is it right to believe you

When there are tears on your face?

This speaks volumes about how people use crying to convey the truth or their own brand of truth. It is the weakness of all compassionate human beings. Great work:)

Nooo don't believe the lying dude!!! hehe, that's my first reaction when I read this. I think about this all the time when someone answers me. Maybe I'm too suspicious...but i agree, people really need to pay attention and try to be a good judge of character. Guess that's all any of us can do.
Nice, meaningful poem. Sorry it took me so long to review this.

Very short, but I guess that the point, and also, I find short poems to also be really great because you have to think harder and you get a meaning from them. Just as I'm writing this review, I'm still thinking about the different ways I can interpret this. Really great :) And the colors added a little bit to this piece as well. Great job :)
