well summer is finally here

this is a blog based on summer in my school that i wrote in english class

Summer is finally in StGIS

 

 

Well… summer is finally here. And you know that moment when you walk out feeling like a girl on fire, with your Ray-Ban shades, no jacket, no blazer, feelin’ like ya own the place, sitting in the court yard taking in the rays of sun coming down on your face… Why, isn’t that the most exhilarating moment in the year? You know you can go swimming and tan, and you know you don’t have compulsory skiing on Saturday anymore!! And then your next lesson, you spend 10 minutes moving chairs and tables outside and then class starts. Every one is taking in the heat, most people look like red tomatoes, but your tanned, and that makes you feel like a sexy beast! Then, lunch break… sweating like a pig, with no more layers to strip off. You can tell that the ties are too tight, your tights are all sticky and hot, your back is all wet and gruesome and you smell like a monkeys bottom… that’s the most unpleasant part of it all. But hey! You have an entire hour to go freshen up and hide somewhere out of the sun. Another great thing here at StGIS, is when you don’t have tights or a blazer on and you don’t have Mr. Gwynne running after you because of having the wrong uniform.

True, you don’t feel like a bad a*s anymore, but oh well, all the other stuff makes up for that.  Then comes the afternoon, that moment when you can go back to the boarding house and rip off that uniform that by that time feels like a chain. So you put on your sexy bathing suit and go tubing or waterskiing or swimming at the lake- parental permission? BS! Being able to rebel against something now that you don’t have the uniform to rebel against seems kinda fun, right? Once you get to the lake you enjoy the tiny little droplets of water splashing on your face, feel the breeze and that sensation of freedom. Oh… but the weekends, that’s another story! It gets 10,000 times better! Summer in StGIS is amazeballs! (If Mrs. Marjot isn’t all over you…) if you don’t use all the advantages and the activities the school has to offer in April and June, then you are a grade 1 ahole with severe attitude, no problem ( or a nerd with 0% personality) so take your dashing bathing suit and jump into the best parts of summer in StGIS!
