Wilting flowers

The battlefields covered in dazzling flowers

The vibrant color bursting

As death and hell unleash themselves,

Ugliness reveals itself,

men die.

One by one,

The flowers wilt.

And not very often

There will be a pure soul,

That hasn’t killed,

That hasn’t hated,

That loved.

The white poppy,

Surrounded by the deep red blood

of the red men that is the poppy.
