Romeo & JulietA Poem by dapoetic_scoobertThe classic tale of two families but adapted to modern timesTwo households both alike yet different For I was a Montague and she a Capulet Our love was forbidden but the fates had it written So Juliet has always vexed me Of course there were suitors, but none amused her Alas it was the Montague in me that made me fall I approached with my lines, which she heard plenty of times But some how she abided me with her time The green eyed monster began to struck the others And no one would let us be Oh how humbly I stood and waited For Juliet to beckon on me to come by her window Hopefully, not in vain for I disdain this lingering pain Our civil union, for she loved me and I loved her completely
