Look my way

Look my way

A Poem by Daniel

When will you look my way?

what do I have to do?

To find a way into your heart,

and there can be a me and you.

I saw you and I fell in love,

do you feel the same way too?

Do you love me?

Can there be a me and you?

I've waited too long,

and had other loves thats true

but none of them

can compare to you.

So please make me a happy man,

and make my dream come true,

tell me you love me

and there can be a me and you.

I like the way you wrote this - it's really unique. Most people try to make complete sentences and use things that have been used way too much before. I really like the "me and you" thing. And like Jared H said, if you could try and fit that into the stanza (I think he meant third, not second) it would really add back to the whole effect you're going for. Keep writing! It's really great :D

I like the repetition here, however it's absent in the second stanza. I think fitting the words, "me and you" somewhere in there will give it an even greater dramatic effect. Great work! An interesting rhyme-scheme here too.
