Urban OutlawA Poem by Dante CarlisleA life outside societyAnother day alone Left to roam These buy and sell streets
Everyone's a clone of just someone else No one is happy Nobody's home
The buy and sell friends A capital measured in material No intellect to find
Just another day A day of innocent crime The unknown trespasser The desperation drug deal The quiet murder A robbery Without a witness Left standing
The hatred of having nothing Of knowing you never can Of being alone And melancholy Because you care
The love of freedom Of having no law Of no beck and call The endless peace That suffuses you When you are The Urban Outlaw © 2014 Dante CarlisleReviews
