Come To Me

By Danny Ballan

Come to me where the mountain meets the shore,

And I will leave my ship and abandon my sailors.

Come to me when all is ambiguous and nothing is certain;

For not the bare rocks for the waves had a date,

Nor do they have a place to hide behind a curtain,

Yet way for each other they longed for.

For neither are we the planners of our own fate nor the tailors;

For neither have a ship, nor am I their captain;

For either your will or my desire is our only fate.

Come to me when all is at hand and opened is the door;

Come to me before it is to come too late.
