To the one who is not blind

To the one who is not blind

A Chapter by Dani The Unreviewed
"

Its another poem... I think.

"
Walk through the street,
Listen to your heart beat,
Isn't this just neat?
Wait, here's your treat.

The poems you read,
That make your face red,
The ones you read laying in bed,
Even the ones, that feel like dread,
Maybe the poet is dead.

But you read his words,
See as he once used them as swords
Now, they're just lonely sparks,
The word stalks,
Trying to keep his memory,
Yes, even in this agony.

The suspense builds,
The love fades,
Dark shades,
Of a lonely age,
Filled with heartache,
Giving me a headache,
Trying to see,
But its too little, too late,
My soul's out, on a plate,
Waiting for the next sale.

I feel like it could be something like we sell our souls out too often. Once we are kicked and down, it's hard for us to try and get back up again. See the light where it's the dimmest.

Thank you :)
Overall, I love every word written here. It is another amazing, powerful demonstration, of your ever so amazing talent. I think it can be interpreted in more ways than one. The ending, makes me think. Maybe it is about giving up love? Or just a relationship? Maybe you feel betrayed, or feel like someone took your right to make your own choices. I loved everything about it, though I am not sure about the exact meaning, but my feelings say that I can relate to this amazing poem.
And no, do not thank me, I should be the one thanking you, for sharing such poetry.
Thank you, I love you Danny.

You are always welcome, gorgeous. Love you Danny :)
I like the logic and the hopeful ending in the poem. Life, love and situation can change. Better to be able to change path than to fall down and can't get-up.

I did like the closing lines. Thank you Danny for sharing the excellent poetry.
