To the one who is not blindA Chapter by Dani The UnreviewedIts another poem... I think.
Walk through the street,
Listen to your heart beat, Isn't this just neat? Wait, here's your treat. The poems you read, That make your face red, The ones you read laying in bed, Even the ones, that feel like dread, Maybe the poet is dead. But you read his words, See as he once used them as swords Now, they're just lonely sparks, The word stalks, Trying to keep his memory, Yes, even in this agony. The suspense builds, The love fades, Dark shades, Of a lonely age, Filled with heartache, Giving me a headache, Trying to see, But its too little, too late, My soul's out, on a plate, Waiting for the next sale. © 2016 Dani The UnreviewedAuthor's Note
