Just a memory

Read and you'll find out.

You took everything,
Left me with nothing,
No mind, no soul, no being,
Just one thing... A memory.
This one memory...
Its worth anything,
Its worth everything.
The memory of you,
Lot of sweet pain it brings,
Sometimes my ear rings,
And my soul sings,
Surrounded by evil things,
In the distance it sings,
Sometimes it even rings,
Other times it just dreams,
Of the sweet times,
When you were here,
Not way over there,
This life aint fair,
Once, I'll lose all care,
And simply wont dare,
But till then poetry is a flare.

This is really good. I'm not usually someone who reads a lot of poetry and I've never written a poem but this is one I really enjoyed and at the minute it's one I can relate to rather well. You've done such a good job with this.
