The creature

Its the personification of human cruelty.

Night is cold,
like the many souls,
that were sold.
It brings terror,
in the hearts of many,
it does not error,
let the reason be any,
who seen it are many,
survivors... hah there are not many.
Its soul is dead,
its ears for cries for mercy are deaf.
It brings only death.
It doesn't speak,
there are no words to seek.
It travels alone,
hunts alone,
strong or weak,
salvation from it comes through death alone.
It doesn't cry,
as children die,
its always cruel,
there is no rule.
you have a gun,
but you will be gone,
before you blink,
blood it needs to drink.
Its bulletproof,
throws you out the roof
no one dares to stand up,
cause they will be lit up
with the flames of Hell,
drop as an empty shell.
Death is afraid of it,
and takes long to save you from it.

Ah, yes. Human cruelty is something that sometimes seemingly dominates the lines of society. Humanity can be very cruel. I see this one recieved the 'Best Poetic Creature' award in the 'Creature Creator' contest. Congratulations on that. Very well written, personifying the unfair, evil human cruelty. Do keep writing.

personifying inanimate things and making them human is always fun
here you took an idea that represents prejudice i think
and made it into like a beast-like figure, something like a werewolf

its similiar to a werewolf poem i wrote before, but manages to be alot more subtle I guess
whereas mine was just a copy of Duran Duran's ''Hungry Like the Wolf'' lol

ill have to read more of your old things

Hey don't doubt yourself. You can do anything you set your mind to. Be able to write is a gift but to be good at it takes practice. All you have to do is find the confidence in yourself to do it, and your talent will take care of the rest
