London Again

London Again

A Poem by daninstockholm

“October 2002, in London”, she said “that’s when I found it”

I shrugged, not knowing what she was talking about

“I was wearing red and you were trying to stay dry”

We were in London again, we were staying inside

Tate Modern can wait, the exhibit doesn’t close yet

“We can stay in the room and order breakfast”

I looked out the window, St. Paul’s Cathedral was in the distance

I wondered how many souls were saved that day.

I am happy I bumped into this poem. I love the flashbacks and the nature mixed in to create a feeling of rosy memories, even though maybe a bit embellished, still having a spot in your mind.
well done Dan :D

Moment of beauty carved inside of your words. Tender and lovely almost like morning dream.
