A Safe PlaceA Poem by Daniielle7arms engulf me in their warm embrace, as deadly mixtures of emotions interlace. fingers trail across scars and lacerations, blatantly man made creations conceived in accusations complicated by temptations. The revealing of these violent illustrations evokes feelings of protestation but as your lips meet my pain its like there never was any confrontations. I had forgotten what it was like to be held in a safe place. And i don't want to retrace any memories back to the past because I feel like a disgrace. Just erase it with black lace, a new face, as hearts race. You saved me from myself. © 2011 Daniielle7Reviews
