UntitledA Poem by ShadenfräuLong and far away I have dreamed of you And each year that passed you remained a hazy blue A faint hope hanging on a thread of the razors hue Fallen from damaged hands wanting to hold something new
Despite my alleged petulant dark Despite thousands of dirty teeth trying to tear me apart I always knew of you as my fresh start My wry eyed devil and my beating heart
You and I are quite possibly the same One tortured soul differentiated only by two names Paralleled and riddled with unwarranted shame An incomplete picture held together by an unfinished frame
Your beauty, it has bemused me Your hands, they have set me free I owe my life, my honor, my being To you who gave me my wings
We’ve molded our flesh and created a beautiful sin Complete with sodden sheets and whispering limbs Our eyes burning deep, in yours, my home forever herein And together we will watch the world end © 2013 ShadenfräuFeatured Review
