Thoughts on a Saturday

I am home

It is not perfect

But it is where the heart rest

What is better than that?

Cool, windy days, little rain

Memories blow through them

Days are coming shorter, night lingers

Morning light a Godsend

Loneliness is for those who are unimaginative

I have myself, we are best friends

Sometimes he makes us laugh

Who is he? Simply, He is me.

Alas, some days the darkness wins

I become shrouded in seclusion

I must break the cycle that keeps me, broken

Fighting my way out at any cost

Friends and loved ones.
