Reminiscent DaysA Poem by DanielScanlonAn anniversary poem to my Mom and dad who have been married, like, forever!! Not always the best of times but stood the TEST of time!Reminiscent Days
After all these years and troubles past It can’t be said, it’s been all that bad Having stood the test of time together You are loved and appreciated, Mom and Dad
Having said that and reflecting back On those good times our family had Reminisce those times that might stand out Remembering the good times helps no doubt Rockaway Beach, Dead horse Creek, camping trips Rocky Raccoon, Cricket and Spots old floppy lips Road trips through Redwood trees, tunnels with the threat of bees Rivers that wind through trees, the air, ferns, moss and breeze
Life would change out of the gate Armadillos and the Lone Star state Time held back in old hick towns Elgin Texas, ups and downs
Time has passed, present day Life keeps moving on Stay in the moment you treasure most And live to see another one.
