a golded craving

a golded craving

A Poem by Otonye Daniel

A craving to kiss the puffs of winter,
And laugh in springly shine..
My longing heart that craves for summer..
To pluck roses whitely fine..
Or sail back to gon'd time..
To listen to pirates' chime!
My lips crave to sing-
Alongside the nightingale..
My heartly cravings ring..
Waltzin through every seely tale..
I crave the adventures of trenches,
To take orders and run and shoot..
As a non-chalant mouth belches..
I long to raid and slit and loot!
My legs long to move-
Through egyptian golded pyramids..
My longing heart craves to feed,
Through the samba groove..
I long to dance and play n sing and war..
My cravings are golded..
I long to ride on clocking hands..
And soar to live through timings past..
