A Call to all Poets

The first stanza of a poem I wish to continue thanks to the help of all of you!

Had this idea of making a poem written by a bunch of reviewers. I'll start it off with this stanza but it would be great if we could make it some kind of thread!

Behold you writers of world,

with you thoughts and words so free,

come here and harness them to the page,

for the whole wide world to see.

Behold your rhythms: structured, clear
or bouncing in a maniacal anger you just felt and had to write in a single line,
or simple, you just felt concise;
your meter's a unique sign.

I share your thoughts and share your dreams.
Poets are writing poetry 
in metered form with rhyming schemes
and in free form apparently.

We the floured words at your feet
then strum your hearts to ancient beats
we muse in costumed centuries
we cry in golden welded tears
we live in words that linger dear
