I HAVE RETURNED! College is going well, I've made a good number of friends, and all of that jazz. Let's get right to the pencil point here! This piece was inspired by a shocking fact I learned about myself just a few days ago: when I was younger, I was diagnosed with Static Encephalopathy. In other words, permanent (unchanging) brain damage. This was quite surprising for me. Am I bothered by this? Not at all actually. If anything, I now feel more secure about myself, as I have finally found a legitimate answer as to why I seem to struggle with socializing and process things slower than most others around me. If anything, I now have a reason to try even harder at everything I do!
Onto these lyrics here. I'm aware that "Essentricity" is not how you spell "Eccentricity". Essentricity is my own concoction (combining the words "essence" and "eccentricity"). The title for this piece is probably the most complicated one I've ever come up with; there are several potential meanings behind it that I'm not going to spoil. There are also a few, minuscule details about the actual song that carry different, underlying messages as well. Anyway, Captain Brain DANage (yes, I actually made this pun shortly after I found out about the brain damage) is now signing off, and looks forward to hearing what you think of this piece! See ya next time! :)

It's amazing that when some people hear 'brain damage' they automatically think of someone who does not have the capacity to be intelligent. However, you are a great example that someone can have brain damage and still be smart and functional! And on top of that, feeling fine to joke about it right away, which is probably something I would also do XD
My brother also has some brain damage from a seizure he had a few years back. It sounds like you two have the same side effects from it, however he is also the smartest person I know :)
On to the lyrics, this made me think of something we all probably come to terms with when we die. Was what we spent our whole lives believing in really true? Was it a huge waste of time? Some people believe that a lot of our philosophical questions will be answered in death, but wouldn't it be funny that even in death we get no answers? Great work :)

I'm thankful, but a revelation is still a revelation, and revelations tend to inspire things, whether those things are hyperbolized or not. Sorry to hear about what happened to your brother, but if he's still able to function well, I'm glad to hear that he can!
That's a good interpretation you've got there. It definitely fits the piece. There are other things about this that are more hidden though, because I like to be ridiculously over the top with that sort of thing (in a good way, I hope!). Sometimes, the things I try to hide are probably silly, because you'd probably have to really overthink to find them. That's just how this glob of gray matter works! Anyway, I think that not getting answers, even in death, qualifies for one of the best pieces of Cosmic dark humor ever if it turned out to be true. Thanks for reviewing, Amber. Your perspective on my writing is always enjoyable. :)
Brain damage included, it definitely doesn't hinder your work at all. Your writings always come across as very in-depth and coded; strong pieces that can, and normally do, take a reader in a bevy of directions. I always appreciate that with your work. My blessings go out to you, my man.
This was a work that had me on the edge of my seat throughout! I loved the way you phrased things, I deeply enjoyed the pacing of the piece that made this easy to follow from beginning to end, and that last line hit like a home run.
Always a pleasure to read, Dan. Keep up the fine writing!

Thanks for reviewing! :)
Dan, I would say from your intelligence, the brain damage was very small. I have a brain tumor but am not going to let it stop me from enjoying what life God has left for me to life. You just keep being you. Valentine

The only times I think it's a slight hinderance is when I'm socializing and trying to process things in my classes (but those things are easily overcome.). I've no intention of letting this ruin my life, that's for sure! Thanks for reviewing. :)
I have a dear friend who has brain damage thanks to her ex-husband. She is one of the most strongest woman I know. She doesn't allow it to consume her life. She has good days and bad, I have been through both with her. Sounds to me that you are a very strong man. I applause you many times over. May God continue to watch over you. You sure are a blessing to those who know you, and one who want to know you. Your write was from the heart. Well done. A pleasure to read. Hugs, to you. Eva

This madness sparkles, I was wondering where you were going with all this eccentricity, last line and I was howling at the moon! Outstanding, A-1 stuff. Kudos. :)

"Eccentricity" in this piece is referring to the eccentricity of our solar system's planets' orbits. "Essentricity" in this instance, is suppose to refer to how flexible one's own soul and beliefs are (flexible kind of like how an extremely eccentric planet orbiting the sun it. It can have a perihelion and an aphelion that are noticeably different compared to that of a planet with a near circular or circular orbit). And then, of course, there is the meaning that you picked up on. Thank you so much for reading my work! :)
