A Little Boy with a TelescopeA Poem by DoormanDanThis is the story of a little boy with a telescope, who one day began searching the Cosmos for answersA Little Boy with a Telescope I broadcast on every radio wavelength But am always met with interplanetary interference And absolute silence The Cosmos I roam with my telescope Trying to prove that I'm not alone In these bok globules, will I find nuclear fusion? Or will the gas clouds contain only dark matter? My heart for many eons has been at aphelion So these questions' answers I'll forever chase after Radiation disperses throughout my marrow Polarizing white blood cells with its gamma rays and sorrow What awaits tomorrow? The Cosmos I roam, destination unknown Searching for the emissions of white holes In these bok globules, will I find nuclear fusion? Or will the gas clouds contain only dark matter? My heart for many eons has been at aphelion So these questions' answers I'll forever chase after I am scanning, I am praying I am searching, I am hoping I am scanning, I am praying I am searching, I am hoping In these bok globules, will I find nuclear fusion? Or will the gas clouds contain only dark matter? My heart for many eons has been at aphelion So these questions' answers I'll forever chase after
