This is my tribute to the soldiers who risk their lives everyday to protect us from darkness

The Gates of Valhalla(Lead Us On)

Millennia ago we left behind our abodes and swore a blood oath

To lead the forlorn to Narnia and fight the soldiers of sorrow

A star's a speck, and we're even less, but that doesn't mean that

We have not the strength to pull the fallen from Tragedy's grasp

We are the children of Prometheus

We are not heroes or angels nor are we corrupted and evil

We have no throne, just a goal to always protect the people

And like lightning bugs we'll light up the dark when they need us

To save the from desolation, we'll give our lives if we must

For we are the gallant

If we die tonight with our weapons in our hands

Valkyrie, lead us on to the gates of Valhalla

We'll not cower in fear, for the wounded we'll stand

And carry them from these plains of Belladonna

One by one lives cease to be, somewhere nymphs are dying

Slain by the sharp blades of anger and ravenous greed

This is our call to arms, hear the battle cries of our hearts

As they roar, from mountaintops, in the face of darkness

Brothers and sisters, mount you stallions

If we die tonight with our weapons in our hands

Valkyrie, lead us on to the gates of Valhalla

We'll not cower in fear, for the wounded we'll stand

And carry them from these plains of Belladonna

If we die tonight underneath this pale moonlight

Valkyrie, lead us on to the gates of Valhalla

We'll be there for the fallen as long as we're alive

To carry them from these plains of Belladonna
