Is there a limit to what you'd give to protect those you love?

Would you ever get blinded by the lights of your darkest desires?

Through fields of fire and ice just how far would you run

To make sure that they survive the battle of their lives?

Would you be willing to lay down your life?

When the zero hour arrives with the warriors of midnight

Will you be ready to die to keep your loved ones alive?

When the day comes that you stare into Armageddon's eyes

Tell me, will you be ready to rise up and fight?

One day there will fall from the sky a scarlet snowflake

Will you run away or stay and fight the queen of despair?

Would you protect the broken ones until Death called your name

When they plead for a savior, but Salvation simply stares?

Or would you just let the Devil claim your Eden?

When the zero hour arrives with the warriors of midnight

Will you be ready to die to keep your loved ones alive?

When the day comes that you stare into Armageddon's eyes

Tell me, will you be ready to rise up and fight?

Will you be ready to fight, will you be willing to die

And become nothing more than a faint whisper of time

To make sure your loved ones make it out of the storm alive?

Or will you turn away and try to save your own life?

Will you fight or hide?

When the day comes that you're face to face with the Hydra

This was great! Your choice of words was great, it seemed like you tried not to use the same word too much and the flow was incredible, sounds like something I would write but my flow will never be that good.

Whew, even being a Christian, this gave me the chills. I know most parents would fight to save their children in a fire or other natural or unnatural event. But at the end, when Jesus comes and the real battle begins, how can we know what He will put into our hands or minds. We can guess, but only God knows what we will face then.
