This is a song that's about two close friends fighting side by side to survive when darkness chokes their once pleasant lives

Armies are reduced to ash, whole kingdoms turn to dust

Our beloved world is now gone, but we must carry on

This may be our final day

This was one of the first songs I ever wrote. Personally, I think it's alright at best, but tell me what you think!

ok quick question I have wrote a couple poems but I cant seem to write them like any one else I see. How do you write them like that. What do you do to write it like that. Just wondering cause I want to write some more poems.

You just have to not force it. Write whatever comes to you, and write about whatever you feel strongly about or about an event in your life. You can try using a dictionary at times if you want to look for good words to use :)

Not necessarily. You can do it free verse, although for songs it would be better to try to rhyme. Also, there are perfect and imperfect rhymes :)

I have no idea! I just write words that mean something to me. Just write what you feel:) Pretend that your singing a song and replace it with your own words. Then, write it down!

They help me to get down my feelings. I love to write, and poems are sort of like songs. I love songs! Poems have so much emotion and meaning. I get to write down what I want to write down. I write about the things that I don't say out loud. I don't have to be polite when writing, and I like that:)

Yes, that is most definitely poetry! It doesn't always have to be serious. The best thing to do is find your own style and stick with it :)

Thanks for the review! I agree with you, it could use a few more verses. I just couldn't think of anything else to put, and I didn't want to force it, for that would have a high chance of weighing the rest of it down. I just think of it as being a song that would just have a guitar solo after the second chorus, and then have the chorus repeat(I'm a Rock head).
