Aging
A Poem by Danielle Nicole
A comic view of aging. Dedicated to a comic friend of mine. Written ages ago, but the message will last for lifetimes. (Added on so it is current).
When I was young,
Life had just begun.
Now I'm 18,
And life is a dream.
If life was good then,
And the life was great....
What will happen when I turn 88? ........ That was two years ago. I ain't changed much- thought you should know. My age doesn't show, Because no matter how much I grow- I am still a child in my heart and soul. |

Everything after the line "What will happen when I turn 88?" was added on today. This was written for graduation and put into the year book next to my picture and speech about moving on into the world. The addition is being added 4 days before my 1st day as a Sophomore in college and almost a month after my 20th birthday. Time flies when your clock is set ahead.

Time only flies when your not watching it....you keep your eyes on a clock and it will seem to stand still...
