Cherub ChildrenA Poem by Danielle NicoleFor the little angels of the world. Note- Although this has religious references, I am simply describing what I think of when taking care of the kids in my life. And, no, I do not mean I have children
Angel
of mine,
Cherub like child. You fill me with joy, You sweet little boy. As young as you are, You’re already a star, Guiding me far, You’re my superstar. Cherub like child, Sweet and mild. With grace and care, You guide me everywhere. You’re a smart little girl, And you light up my world. Cherub children come and play. Cherub children here to stay. You will become an angel one day. To this I pray. © 2015 Danielle Nicole |
