occluded stars

occluded stars

A Poem by daniel lee johnson
"

"

I walk out to
find poems tonight
to write of the
Louisiana sky
but clouds they hide
the stars from view
Sometimes you just
never know why

the wind plays songs
upon my chimes
mingling with the
songs of tonight
and the stars shine
so bright anyhow
though tonight I
cant see their light

so remember
behind all clouds
stars shine as bright
if you dont see
never give in
always hang on
the stars still shine

for you and me

there are days that we don't see the sun for all our trials and tribulations....but if we fight through those days, we will find that the sun always rises each morning...and soon the clouds will dissipate.
and we will again see azure skies.
