A Good Man is Never Seen

A Good Man is Never Seen

A Poem by Daniel DelMonacco

You've lost hope all together

yet I continue to try

I must find my armor

So chivalry won't die.

But to you I'm still green

And a good man is never seen.

You challenge my beliefs

make me think outside the box.

but there's never enough time

in a world full of clocks.

And still no matter how keen,

A good man is never seen.

Like capturing fireflies

in a bottomless  jar,

See me for what I can become

so I can love you for who you are.

Let me adore you my queen

So this good man can be seen.

Wow, I'm surprised this doesn't have any reviews. I enjoyed this, but feel bad for the guy....why would he want someone that can't see him and truly appreciate the man he is. But I do like that he wants her to, so that he can give in return.
