Written for a girl who is like a daughter to me...all she knows is abandonment...so she vehemently pushes love away...because to her, it will never stay.

How do u show...what cant be seen
say i love u...she cant hear a thing.
How do u make her...feel what u say
to her love means...i might go away.
How can she hide...such a beautiful smile
this world without it...surely would die.
She really is broken...her heart hid inside
she thinks noone sees it...its there in her eyes.
She wonders how long...this time will it take
to not get hurt...to push him away.
She watches and waits...for the love she knows to be
but she can watch forever...for my love is hers
...to never flee
