Jaded thoughts

Jaded thoughts

A Poem by Daniealla
"

If only some feelings could be erased.

"
An hour passes; another day.
My thoughts are bombarding me,
with no compassion and a strong will to stay.

The touch is gone,
Your memory is there.
just thinking of you sends me on a physical rampage;
trying to calm my mind into an elusive repair.

What is Love?
A word; Yes.
One that I wish to forget;
proud to confess.
Full of feelings that make my heart jaded,
memories that need to heal. To be safely gone.
But for not I'll work with this.
Just Faded.

You capture the feelings of emotions in turmoil from being wronged. As well as the difficulties of recovering through such a heartache and finding a way to let the past go in order to move forward. A very strong and truthful piece of writing. Thank you for sharing your work with us.
