King of Hearts

King of Hearts

A Poem by Daniealla
"

We all hold on to things that we shouldn't because it feels too good to let go.

"
You got me so bundled up, can't even decide. The way you make me feel, I swear love is blind.
Man I'm so messed up; didn't realize
How much time actually went, it really flies.
You got that warm touch, in my cold heart.
A mad joker for love, stuck to a king of hearts.
Playing me as a game,
You got me so linked up like ice and the chains.
You got a new deck of cards; it hurts me; it pains.
But the jokes on you, cause it don't deal the same.
You're an addictive drug, a bad habit
The pull between us is strictly magnetic.
But I'm healed, done and over it.
So don't come back wanting to recommit.
