My enemy is myselfA Poem by DanieallaSometimes the fire is within us and we need to learn to put it out ourselves before it kills us.
Cracked walls of white
Stamped with my miseries and my inner self laughing with delight Walking through shallow hallways Viewing my work I see myself again. She's looking at me Each memory carved with a story Each story attached with a picture The blank hallways are what to be Brightness is what I want it to be That's what I need it to be For I can not see clearly I am blinded by life's horrors My inner self saves me Or do I think so? My fears is what you strike My strengths is what you tease I trusted what I couldn't see My downfall? Myself. I'm my biggest enemy
